Founded in 1961, the East Bay Bonsai Society is one of the most enduring bonsai organizations in the United States. With over 120 members, we meet monthly to share information, view members’ trees, and hear presentations on bonsai-related topics by local and guest artists from here and abroad.

The club is hosting a two-day free show November 14th (10am – 5pm) and 15th (11am to 4pm) at the Huetamo de Núñez Lakeside Garden Center, 666 Bellevue Avenue, Oakland, CA, featuring an impressive exhibit of quality bonsai. Headliner is renowned bonsai artist, author and teacher, Dave De Groot. The show includes a sale of bonsai trees, pots, tools and related materials. Credit cards, checks, and cash accepted.
